About Woden Tech

Software for the engineers
who build everything else.

Woden Tech is the AEC software division of Avocet Analytics. We build purpose-built tools for fire protection engineers — not general-purpose platforms with an engineering skin.

What We Believe

Engineer-in-the-loop

Every AI output requires a human decision. We generate drafts. Engineers approve them. That line never blurs.

Domain-first

Purpose-built for AEC fire workflows. Not a general AI wrapper. The models understand disciplines, codes, and submittal sequence.

Code-cited

Responses cite actual code sections — IBC, CBC, IFC, NFPA — scoped to your AHJ. Defensible from day one.

Zero-entry start

AI does the initial work. You make decisions. No manual data entry to get started on any Woden Tech product.

Full audit trail

Every action, decision, and deliverable is logged. Complete traceability from comment extraction to final approval.

Built for AEC

We understand the AEC industry because we come from it. Every feature is designed for how engineering teams actually work.

What We Build

Plan Check Management (THOOM)

Plan check management is the process of receiving, tracking, and responding to correction notices from Authorities Having Jurisdiction (AHJs). THOOM automates this for fire protection engineers: it extracts comments from any AHJ's PDF, categorizes them by discipline and code section, and generates code-cited response drafts referencing IBC, CBC, IFC, and NFPA standards. Every response requires engineer approval before submission.

Hazmat Inventory & MAQ Compliance (HZMT)

Maximum Allowable Quantity (MAQ) is the maximum amount of a hazardous material permitted in a building control area before triggering High-Hazard Group H occupancy classification, as defined in CFC/IFC Table 5003.1.1. HZMT automates chemical inventory management, GHS hazard classification from CAS numbers and SDS data, MAQ compliance calculations, and generation of HMAR (Hazardous Materials Assessment Report), HMMP (Hazardous Materials Management Plan), and HMIS (Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement) documentation for AHJ submission.

Engineering Coordination (VERK)

Engineering coordination is the structured management of decisions, handoffs, and deliverables across disciplines during the design and review phases of AEC projects. VERK provides the communication infrastructure between email (unstructured) and BIM (model-only): decision logging with full context, structured discipline-to-discipline handoffs, and deliverable tracking from commitment through completion.

Fire Master Plan Automation (FSZLY)

A Wildland-Urban Interface (WUI) fire master plan is a compliance document required for development in areas where structures meet wildland vegetation. FSZLY automates the full pipeline: GIS data sourcing, fire behavior modeling (flame length, ember exposure, defensible space analysis), and master plan document generation. Every plan is reviewed by a licensed fire protection engineer before delivery to the AHJ.
